In the Marine Corps, I worked as an aviation radio technician—MOS 5939. Our equipment relayed the coordinates aircraft relied on to complete their missions accurately. There was no room for "close enough."

Everything had to be tested before the mission began, because once the aircraft was in the air, it was too late to discover that something had been overlooked. Later, I trained other Marines to approach that work with the same discipline: check, verify, and prepare before the pressure arrives.

I've carried that principle into real estate.
